Estimator, Construction, Civil Engineering

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Estimator to join our growing construction team based in Langley, BC. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in the pre-construction phase of residential, commercial, and industrial projects across the Lower Mainland.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed and competitive cost estimates for design-build, lump sum, and construction management projects.
• Review project drawings, specifications, and other documentation to determine scope of work and required contents of estimate.
• Coordinate and solicit competitive pricing from subcontractors and suppliers.
• Analyze historical data and compile reports on costs and trends.
• Assist in value engineering and feasibility studies.
• Collaborate with project managers, architects, consultants, and clients to ensure accurate pricing and constructability assessments.
• Attend site visits and pre-bid meetings as required.
• Maintain and update estimating databases and tools.

• 3+ years of experience as an Estimator in the Canadian commercial or industrial construction industry.
• Diploma or degree in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of local construction methods, materials, and codes.
• Proficient with estimating software (e.g., Bluebeam, Timberline, Plan Swift) and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Exceptional attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
