The Financial Controller will oversee day-to-day accounting operations while strengthening financial systems to support scaling operations. This is a hands‑on leadership role working closely with the CEO and leadership team. The right candidate will combine construction accounting expertise with strong analytical capabilities and a growth-oriented mindset.

• Oversee AP, AR, payroll, and general ledger
• Prepare monthly financial statements and management reports
• Manage cash flow forecasting and working capital
• Oversee job costing, WIP reporting, and margin forecasting
• Identify financial risks, cost overruns, and margin variances
• Develop and improve financial controls, systems, and workflows
• Support budgeting, forecasting, KPI tracking, and strategic planning

• 2 or more years of accounting or financial control experience
• Construction accounting experience strongly preferred (GC or trade contractor)
• Strong knowledge of job costing, WIP reporting, progress billing, and holdbacks
• Procore experience is considered an asset
• Advanced Excel proficiency
• Analytical, organized, proactive, and growth-driven
• Must be in-office (Langford)

• Full-time, permanent employment
• Pay: CAD $85,000 to CAD $100,000 annually, based on experience
