Travel RN - ICU

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a night shift Adult ICU/CCU travel position in Lander, WY, requiring 2 years of recent ICU experience and active WY or compact RN licensure.

Job Details

• Critical care unit (CCU/ICU) in a community hospital setting,

• Night shift schedule: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM,

• 13-week contract,

• Every other weekend required,

• Occasional float between two campuses (Lander and Riverton) based on facility census,

• Occasional care of pediatric and adolescent patients, as the facility does not have a dedicated pediatric unit,

Job Requirements

• Active WY RN license or compact RN license currently in hand,

• Required certifications (must be through the American Heart Association): BLS and ACLS,

• Required certifications (must be through the American Heart Association): PALS or ENPC,

• TNCC preferred but not required,

• Minimum 2 years of recent ICU RN experience,

• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months,

• SSN and date of birth required for consideration,

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include assessing patient conditions, implementing care plans, advanced life support, wound treatment, assisting physicians with procedures, monitoring and adjusting ventilators and IABP, administering IV fluids and medications, suctioning, and patient/family education,

• May also care for pre- and post-operative patients,

• Candidates living within 50 miles of the facility are considered local and are subject to a reduced pay rate,

• Certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start date,

• RQI and RCIS certifications for BLS and ACLS are not accepted,
