* POSITION SUMMARY:

** Slot Operations Manager is responsible for the successful operation of the Slot department. Verifies and maintains consistency in the compliance of state laws, regulations, and company internal policies and procedures with regard to the movement and maintenance of slot machines.

* DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

** 1. Maintain a pleasant, friendly, and welcoming attitude toward all external and internal guests at all times.
2. Assist and advise other departments and company personnel as necessary to ensure the successful performance of slots and the property in general.
3. Maintain strict confidentiality relative to financial information, operating systems, company policies and procedures, marketing plans, and team member information.
4. Complete all required daily financial tools and reports.
5. Develop and manage the budget for the Slot Department.
6. Maintaining required documentation of slot moves, maintenance, repair logs, and purchase orders, and requisitions for slot machine parts and supplies.
7. Training of Slot Supervisor and Slot Technicians in troubleshooting various slot machine malfunctions. Delegate authority and assign responsibilities.
8. Responsible for reviewing reports and statistical data for malfunctions or other problems and implementing appropriate maintenance and repair lists.
9. Appropriately discern and timely communication situations that require executive management attention.
10. Responsible for interviewing, hiring, developing, and evaluating team members.
11. Review, approve and administer Corrective action as necessary.
12. Mediate and solve problems for team members and guests and establish and maintain effective line of communication throughout the department and on all shifts.
13. Ensure technical proficiency of all slot tech department team members through guidance and effective training programs.
14. Responsible for the development of work schedules and assignments for slot tech department team members.
15. Maintain safety policies and procedures, instruct team members, and follow up to ensure hazards are eliminated.
16. Enforce all company and department policies and procedures, including appearance, uniform guidelines, and all regulations and internal controls.
17. Coordinate with Security and Surveillance to detect and prevent attempts to cheat or damage gaming equipment.
18. Improve productivity by recommending improvements, processes, equipment and systems.
19. Possess a thorough understanding and working knowledge of all slots department games and equipment.
20. Implement changes related to Title 31 guidelines as necessary.
21. Adhere to regulatory, departmental, and company policies in an ethical manner and empower and require others to do the same.
22. Have complete knowledge of all casino events and promotional activities.
23. Must be able to work a flexible schedule as required by business operations, including late nights, weekends, and holidays.
24. Other duties as assigned or any reasonable request from any member of management.

- ** QUALIFICATIONS**:1. Minimum of two (2) years of Slot Tech/Attendant Supervisor experience or three (3) years Slot Management experience is highly preferred.
2. Gaming Industry experience is required.
3. Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, leadership technique, production methods, and coordination of people and resources.
4. Knowledge of arithmetic, statistics and their application.
5. Knowledge of gaming laws and regulations.
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
7. Ability to thrive in a fast paced and demanding position.
8. Ability to analyze complex data and concisely present actionable intelligence.
9. Must be organized and adaptable in a rapidly changing environment.
10. Exceptional problem-solving skills.
11. Committed to continuous improvement.

- ** WORK ENVIRONMENT:
** 1. Work exposure to noise, flashing lights, secondhand smoke, and varying temperatures.
2. This position operates in a casino environment, which includes exposure to noise, crowds and secondhand smoke.
3. Fast-paced environment requires constant attention to guest service and team coordination.
4. Varying work schedule that includes nights, weekends and holidays depending on operational needs.
5. Must maintain a professional appearance and demeaner in compliance with the company policies and guest service standards.
