HGV Mechanic (Agricultural/ Plant) – £32,000 - £42,000 + Monday to Friday + Training + Generous Pension + Progression + Company bonus. Bentham, Lancaster.

Are you a HGV mechanic with a background in Agricultural/Plant machinery or similar looking to join a tight knit team with a specialist company who offer a stable days-based position with a varied workload and industry specific training?

Established in 1976, this specialist operates within the off-road vehicle engineering sector, focusing on Unimogs. The company sources, sells, refurbishes and custom-builds vehicles, providing full workshop support, bespoke fabrication and expedition body builds. They serve agriculture, utilities, industry and overlanding markets requiring reliable, heavy-duty 4x4 solutions.

In this role, you will work on Unimogs and other 4x4 trucks, diagnosing mechanical faults and carrying out routine maintenance, specialist conversions, performance upgrades, full restorations, fabrication and camper body builds. You will also undertake inspections, repairs and component rebuilds, working both independently and as part of a skilled workshop team, ensuring all work meets high quality and safety standards. This role is Monday to Friday, 8:30am-5:00pm.

• Diagnose and repair mechanical faults on Unimogs and 4x4 trucks
• Carry out pre planned servicing and maintenance
• Complete specialist conversions and upgrades
• Undertake full restorations and rebuilds
• Work within a team of 5
• Monday-Friday, 8:30am-5:00pm

• Experience as a HGV Mechanic or Agricultural/Plant
• Mechanical fault-finding and diagnostic skills
• Full Drivers License
• Commutable to Bentham
