Mobile Catering Assistant; Peripatetic

Salary £24,310 per annum (pro - rata) | Permanent, variable hours | Part time, 16.25 hours per week | Term time I Lancaster |

As a Mobile catering assistant you will travel to different schools in and around the Lancaster area to cover where necessary. Must Be willing to train as a kitchen supervisor. Must be able to drive.

Lancashire, serving over 60,000 school meals per day and we are looking for committed individuals to join the service

You will work as part of a team providing high quality, healthy, balanced meals for school children.

Hours are variable depending upon school meal uptake

• Prepare the dining area for service, including the moving and setting up of furniture and putting away
• Assist in the preparation, cooking and serving of food and beverages
• Clean all equipment and catering areas

• Ability Lancashire County Council provide catering services to over 500 schools across to work as part of a team
• Ability to work under pressure and use own initiative
• Good customer care skills
• Previous catering and food preparation experience would be desirable
