Job Description Responsible for the knowledge and communication of our Benefits, Insurance, and Retirement Programs. Attends new hire benefits orientation and fully explains all MUSC benefit options to eligible CTM’s and assist with processing their enrollment. Review and follow up with all new hires as appropriate, to ensure benefits and retirement process accurately and payroll deductions initiate. Reviews each orientation roster to identify any CTMs with a change of status that may affect their benefits.
Provides supportive employee data and reports as needed. Regularly works benefits audit reports and attend benefits meetings. As with all Human Resources staff, this position is responsible for cross‑training within the department, maintain an overall HR knowledge, be capable to assist with surveys, and always provide exceptional Customer Service to all our team members, including our HR co‑workers.
Additional Job Description
Experience: Previous South Carolina State Benefits experience is preferred
Education: High School Degree or GED is required
