Eden Brown are seeking an enthusiastic A-level Sociology Lecturer for a Further Education College in Lancashire.

This is a full time temporary role to start ASAP until the end of March initially but potentially longer.

This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated educator to deliver engaging and high-quality teaching across Year 1 and 2 A-Level Sociology programmes, supporting learners to achieve their academic and career goals.

• Deliver Year 1 and 2 A-Level Sociology
• Plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons in line with curriculum requirements
• Assess and track student progress, providing timely feedback and support
• Prepare learners for coursework, assignments, and external assessments
• Maintain accurate records in line with college policies
• Contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment

• A recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, Cert Ed, DTLLS or equivalent)
• Relevant Sociology qualification (Level 3 minimum Degree preferred)
• Experience teaching in a Further Education setting
• Strong classroom management skills
• Up-to-date knowledge of the Sociology curriculum
