15–22.5 hours per week, 08:30am–16:30pm, Monday to Friday – days to be agreed.

The Role

We are looking for a Practitioner Psychologist to join our in‑house clinical team at Red Moor School. Working collaboratively with the education team, you will deliver psychological assessment and intervention to pupils who may have experienced developmental trauma, be neuro‑divergent or have SEMH needs. You will work within the standards provided in the OFG Psychological Practice Ways of Working, guiding your practice within an education setting and clarifying your roles and responsibilities, while taking into account the requirements of your governing and professional bodies.

You will be responsible for holding a psychological caseload, with full support from your designated clinical supervisor and site lead, and will also contribute to school development, staff training and consultation as required. This post suits a resilient, creative and enthusiastic individual.

Essential Criteria
  • Registered Educational, Forensic, Counselling or Clinical Psychologist
  • Doctoral level degree in Clinical, Counselling, Forensic or Educational Psychology (or equivalent prior to introduction of relevant Doctorate)
  • Relevant prior experience in related settings or with related client groups
  • Experience of effective multi‑disciplinary working (with both clinical and non‑clinical internal and external agencies)
