Ecosse Professional Services Ltd. is a boutique recruitment agency working with a small number of high end clients.

Our client for this role is engineering based supplying into the defence market. This company has a full order book and going through a period of growth but ambition and opportunities are there for future growth.

The Designate CEO will provide strategic leadership, oversee operations, and drive business growth initiatives. The role includes developing and executing business plans, managing financial performance, and fostering strong relationships with key stakeholders. This is a full‑time position based on‑site in the Lancaster area, requiring proactive involvement in business decision‑making processes and an ability to inspire leadership across the organization.

• Proficiency in Finance and Operations Management to ensure efficient resource allocation and operational effectiveness.
• Expertise in Business Planning and Strategic Planning to set and implement organizational goals and long‑term strategies effectively.
• Experience in Sales and building client relationships is absolutely key in order to drive revenue and business development.
• Strong leadership, communication, and decision‑making skills to manage and inspire teams.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively with varying stakeholders and adapt to the demands of a dynamic business environment.
• Previous experience in a similar executive leadership role is advantageous.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Finance, or a related field; MBA or equivalent qualification preferred.
