Summary/Objective

This position provides warehouse support and customer service. Warehouse associates work as a team or independently to provide receiving, warehousing, and order fulfillment services. This position will report directly to the Warehouse Supervisor or Warehouse Manager.

Duties and Responsibilities

Processes customer orders and packages for shipping

Notates damage and piece counts

Ensures compliance with all documentation required for orders

Verifies receipts against purchase orders

Assists in physical inventories

May operate some warehouse equipment; radio frequency Scanners

Keeps work area clean at all times

All other duties as assigned

Working Conditions

Primarily working indoors, in a non-climate-controlled environment.

Qualifications

Education: High School Diploma

Physical, Mental and Visual

Ability to talk, hear as well as use fine finger dexterity for keyboard and phone; ability to stand for extended periods of time, walk, and reach with hands and arms; ability to repetitively lift and/or move 40-50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move 70-100 pounds with or without accommodations; ability to use close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus.

Physical Environment: Fast-paced warehouse environment with ability to operate hand jacks.
