The Operations Manager reports to the General Manager and oversees day‑to‑day site operations, supervising warehousing, receiving and shipping activities, while ensuring service and cost objectives are met.

• Develop and implement systems and procedures for safe, profitable operations in line with company policies.
• Manage operations to meet productivity and service goals and comply with client SLAs.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives for operational efficiency and cost savings.
• Meet client KPIs and quality system requirements.
• Provide coaching and discipline, conduct performance evaluations, and resolve personnel issues.
• Collaborate with Human Resources on hiring, training, and development programs.
• Communicate critical issues to senior management and client representatives.
• Plan daily work schedules, prioritize tasks, and assign duties.
• Review volume demands to organize warehouse space and adjust staffing or equipment.
• Ensure compliance with SOPs and provide effective training.
• Maintain high motivation and customer satisfaction through strong leadership.
• Conduct routine staff meetings to review activities.

• High school diploma or GED required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in logistics, distribution or related field.
• At least 5 years in a supervisory role.
• Ability to work in unregulated warehouse temperatures ranging from mild to moderate.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and applicable WMS systems.
• Excellent verbal and written communication in English.
• Strong leadership, organization, and planning skills.

• Must handle 21–50 pounds and perform frequent bending, walking, standing, and sitting.
• Availability to work flexible schedules, including nights and weekends.
