Personal Care Attendant Caregiver

Overview

Job Overview We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide high-quality care and support to individuals in need. As a Caregiver, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients by assisting them with daily activities and ensuring their comfort and safety. This position requires a strong commitment to resident rights and the ability to work effectively with individuals with various disabilities, including developmental disabilities and dementia.

• Assist clients with personal care tasks, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the well-being of clients.
• Help with meal preparation and ensure proper nutrition for clients.
• Administer medication as prescribed and monitor health conditions.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients, including light housekeeping duties.
• Assist clients with mobility, including heavy lifting when necessary.
• Support individuals with developmental disabilities by promoting independence and skill development.
• Respect and uphold resident rights at all times while providing care.

• Previous experience in caregiving or a related field is preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of first aid practices is highly desirable.
• Experience in dementia care is a plus.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients.
• Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and assist with mobility needs.
• Commitment to maintaining a clean environment for client safety and comfort.
• Understanding of the unique needs of individuals with disabilities is beneficial.
