** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.

+ Screen individuals entering the location by verifying identification, confirming appointments and/or authorization, and directing visitors to the appropriate area.

+ Conduct entry screening as required, which may include visual inspections of carried items, use of screening equipment, and asking screening-related questions in a professional manner.

+ Maintain visitor, delivery, and contractor logs, issue and collect badges and/or passes, and document screening results per site procedures.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and promptly notify site contacts and/or Allied Universal supervision as needed.

+ Monitor assigned areas for unusual activity and help to deter unauthorized access through presence, observation, and reporting.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter when assigned. Working environments and conditions may vary by location.

+ Complete reports such as incident reports, shift activity logs, and/or other documentation in a clear and timely manner.

* Minimum Requirements:

* + - Have at least 6 months of security experience.

+ - X-Ray screening experience is preferred.

+ - Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

+ - Customer service experience is preferred.

+ - Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ - Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ - As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ - Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ - As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ - Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ - A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
