Clinical Research Associate Director - Animal Science

Responsibilities

• Leads and oversees clinical research operations, including study design, timelines, budgets, resource planning, and personnel coordination
• Ensures high‑quality study execution by monitoring clinical trials, supporting safety and efficacy reporting, and maintaining strict GCP compliance
• Collaborates with investigators, study staff, and data management teams to ensure protocol adherence, accurate data entry, and effective investigator selection
• Builds and manages key external relationships with alliance partners, investigators, companies, and opinion leaders to support clinical trial success
• Produces scientific outputs, including clinical study reports, manuscripts, and presentations for scientific and medical audiences
• Works cross‑functionally with project management and other departments to maintain project plans and support broader organizational objectives

• Advanced scientific training with a PhD in Animal Sciences/Nutrition or a DVM/VMD with strong nutrition focus
• 5–8 years of clinical research experience in relevant scientific or veterinary settings
• Strong problem‑solving abilities for addressing complex scientific and technical challenges
• Effective collaborator and leader able to work with external partners and within matrixed teams
• Skilled in cross‑functional teamwork and comfortable operating in fast‑paced research environments
