Registered Nurse - RN

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, evidence-based nursing care to emergency patients of all ages
• Triage patients quickly and efficiently using standardized protocols
• Monitor and assess patients? conditions, responding appropriately to changes
• Administer medications, perform interventions, and assist in emergency procedures
• Document all care and communications accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR)
• Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and support staff
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans, discharge instructions, and follow-up care
• Maintain a safe and organized environment in the ED

Qualifications

Education:
Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Associate?s or Bachelor?s degree in Nursing)

Licensure:
Current South Carolina RN license or compact state equivalent

Certifications:

• BLS (Basic Life Support) ? Required
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) ? Required or must obtain within 6 months
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) ? Preferred or must obtain per department guidelines
• TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) ? Preferred

Experience:

• Emergency nursing experience preferred, but new grads with strong clinical rotations in ED are welcome to apply
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
