• Schedule:
  
  3x12 or 4x12 hour shifts per week; every other weekend required
• On-call: 1 on-call shift every 6 weeks for 3x12s
• Patient Ratio: 1:3
• Guaranteed
  
  Hours:
  
  Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
• Floating:
  Required to float to Mom-Baby and Couplet Care units
• Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $1470-$1570

Qualifications For Travel Nursery RN Jobs

• Minimum 2 years of recent Level II Nursery RN experience
• Proven experience with routine newborn care, attending deliveries, and infant resuscitation
• Skilled in stabilizing premature newborns (32 weeks and above, 1500g+) for transfer
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• Active South Carolina or Multi-State/Compact RN license (or proof of application)
• Certifications:
  
  BLS and NRP (AHA required); STABLE preferred
• Mother-Baby nursing experience preferred
• First-time travel nurses not accepted

Key Responsibilities – Nursery Registered Nurse

• Attend and assist with high-risk and low-risk deliveries, providing newborn transition care
• Stabilize and prepare premature infants for transport to higher-level neonatal care
• Administer oxygen therapy (ET, NC, CPAP) and IV therapy
• Perform NAS scoring and medication administration as indicated
• Maintain a neutral thermal environment for at-risk newborns
• Float to Mom-Baby and Couplet Care units, managing newborn assignments as needed
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams (respiratory, pharmacy, rapid response)
• Document patient care accurately using Epic charting system
