November 24, 2025 - Duration: 9 weeks
- Shifts:
Night shifts, 12 hours (6:45pm – 7:15am) - Schedule:
3x12 or 4x12 hour shifts per week; every other weekend required - On-call: 1 on-call shift every 6 weeks for 3x12s
- Patient Ratio: 1:3
- Guaranteed
Hours:
Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks - Floating:
Required to float to Mom-Baby and Couplet Care units - Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $1470-$1570
- Minimum 2 years of recent Level II Nursery RN experience
- Proven experience with routine newborn care, attending deliveries, and infant resuscitation
- Skilled in stabilizing premature newborns (32 weeks and above, 1500g+) for transfer
- Prior travel nursing experience required
- Active South Carolina or Multi-State/Compact RN license (or proof of application)
- Certifications:
BLS and NRP (AHA required); STABLE preferred - Mother-Baby nursing experience preferred
- First-time travel nurses not accepted
- Attend and assist with high-risk and low-risk deliveries, providing newborn transition care
- Stabilize and prepare premature infants for transport to higher-level neonatal care
- Administer oxygen therapy (ET, NC, CPAP) and IV therapy
- Perform NAS scoring and medication administration as indicated
- Maintain a neutral thermal environment for at-risk newborns
- Float to Mom-Baby and Couplet Care units, managing newborn assignments as needed
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams (respiratory, pharmacy, rapid response)
- Document patient care accurately using Epic charting system
