As a PTA, you’ll work side-by-side with our Physical Therapists to help patients recover from injury, illness, surgery, and chronic conditions

- Assist Physical Therapists with patient evaluations and treatment delivery
- Prepare patients and therapy equipment for safe, effective sessions
- Implement treatment plans, including:
- Therapeutic exercises
- Stretching and mobility techniques
- Hands-on therapy
- Use of therapeutic equipment
- Monitor and document patient responses to treatment
- Provide clear status updates and treatment notes after each session
- Outpatient hospital setting with a strong interdisciplinary team
- Focus on quality care, not rushed visits
- Meaningful patient relationships and measurable outcomes
- Supportive environment that values your skills and expertise

AdditionalJob Description
Education: Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program.
Certification/Licensure: Licensure as a Physical Therapy Assistant by the South Carolina Board of Physical Therapy Examiners. Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required before seeing patients.
