Registered nurses (RNs) are responsible for providing safe, competent patient care, educating patients and their families about health conditions, and providing advice and emotional support to patients and their families.
Minimum Training and EducationGraduate from an accredited school of nursing
Required Licensure, Certifications, RegistrationsLicensed as a Registered Nurse by the South Carolina Board of Nursing or a compact state. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) with the American Heart Association (AHA) is required.
