Medical/Surgical (Med/Surg) – 6th Floor - Shift: Night shift, 4x12-hour shifts (6:45pm – 7:15am); 3x12s may be considered
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks (Start: 9/22/2025 – End: 12/22/2025)
- Hours per Week: 36
- Estimated Weekly Salary: $1570–$1680
- Patient Ratio: 1:6–1:7

- Minimum 3 years of recent Medical/Surgical RN experience
- Previous travel nursing experience required (first-time travelers not accepted)
- Active South Carolina or Compact RN license (must be in hand prior to start)
- Certifications:
BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS (all required) - Telemetry experience and proficiency in dysrhythmia interpretation/management preferred
- Must complete all assigned modules prior to start date
- Attendance at staff meetings required
- Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions considered)
- Willingness to participate in emergency response teams during hurricane season (June–November)
- Deliver high-quality nursing care to adult and geriatric patients with diverse diagnoses, including post-surgical, cardiac, respiratory, and infectious disease cases
- Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions and responses to treatment
- Administer medications, manage IVs, and perform wound care
- Interpret and manage dysrhythmias and telemetry monitoring
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams (PT, RT, pharmacy, social services)
- Educate patients and families on care plans and discharge instructions
- Adhere to infection control protocols and isolation precautions
- Float to similar units as required to meet facility needs
