Nursing Extern - PRN

• Assists nursing team with patient care activities necessary for comfort and safety.
• Provides personal hygiene, dressing, walking assistance, changes bed linens, and transports patients to tests and procedures.
• May serve and collect food trays, provide between-meal nourishment, and record temperature or vital signs under nurse direction.
• PRN: available for at least 12 hours bi-weekly as needed, with possible additional hours requested by supervisor.

• High school diploma or GED required; at least one year of patient care experience or current enrollment in an accredited associate or bachelor’s nursing program preferred.
• Current Certified Nursing Assistant in South Carolina; must be registered in the Nurse Aide Registry or be a current nursing student.
• Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
