Responsibilities
Assist Physical Therapists with patient evaluations and treatment delivery
Prepare patients and therapy equipment for safe, effective sessions
Implement treatment plans, including:
Therapeutic exercises
Stretching and mobility techniques
Hands-on therapy
Use of therapeutic equipment
Monitor and document patient responses to treatment
Provide clear status updates and treatment notes after each session
Qualifications
Education: Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program.
Certification/Licensure: Licensure as a Physical Therapy Assistant by the South Carolina Board of Physical Therapy Examiners. Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required before seeing patients.
