Job Summary:
Operator 2 performs advanced production processes and operates various machines including chamfering, scoring, slot, honing, and crack detection equipment. Operator 2 works more independently and assists with achieving quality tolerances.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Operate Hone without setup
- Operate Centerless Grind without setup
- Operate and set up Double Disc
- Perform Mechanical inspection.
- Perform magnet inspection and slot operations.
- Set up and operate chamfer and score
- Operate and set up Centerless Grind or Hone.
- Operate and set up Double Disc holding tight tolerances.
- Operate without setup the CNC Drill.
- Action-oriented and independent with a heightened sense of urgency to work at a quick pace.
- Demonstrates creativity in problem-solving and making connections among different ideas.
- Maintains high standards of accuracy, completeness, and compliance with regulations.
- Collaborative team player who supports and assists colleagues effectively.

- Works in a manufacturing environment with exposure to machinery and occasional noise.
- Requires standing, stooping, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Manual dexterity and visual acuity required for detailed work and operation of machinery.
- Ability to understand verbal instructions and comply with safety and quality regulations.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 1-2 years of manufacturing experience.
- Familiarity with precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers).
- Ability to read and interpret part prints.
- Basic troubleshooting skills.
