Franklin & Marshall College is recruiting for a full-time Staff Coordinator.

F&M Campus - Lancaster, PA

Full-time, Non-Exempt
* Schedule:
35 hours, Monday to Friday.
* Reports to:
Associate Vice President of Advancement Operations
* Department:
Advancement Operations
* Approved Hourly Rate: $20.14/hour
Job Description:
The Staff Coordinator in the division of College Advancement provides essential administrative support for Advancement programs and initiatives, including events and volunteer meetings. This position serves in a customer service role to alumni, parents, donors, and volunteers and provides support to the division.
Essential Functions:
* Provide logistical support for events, including event arrangements, managing invitation lists and registrations, preparing name tags and assisting with event setup.
* Prepare mailings, including invitations, solicitations or acknowledgements.
* Create and assemble meeting materials, including travel packets, formatted lists and slides. May attend and take meeting minutes.
* Create and maintain organizational systems for information on shared drives.
* Work as part of a support staff team to coordinate and balance workload with other team members and provide back-up coverage as needed during peak times and planned and unplanned absences.
* All other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Minimum Qualifications:
* High school diploma or GED.
* At least 1 year of prior work experience in administrative support roles in an office environment.
* Excellent oral, written, interpersonal communication, customer service skills.
* Proficiency in Google Suite Products (Docs, Gmail, Sheets, Slides, Drive), Microsoft Word and Excel
* Attention to detail.
* Commitment to producing high quality, attractive documents.
* Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
* Complete discretion in handling and storing sensitive data.
* Commitment to Community and Belonging.
* Successful interview.
* Successful completion of background checks.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Previous administrative experience in a higher education setting.
* Three or more years work experience in an administrative support role in an office environment.
* Vocational or technical training or degree in administrative/business field.
Additional Information:
Offers of employment are contingent upon the successful completion of reference checks, a criminal background verification, and verification of credentials. The College will coordinate these verifications.
