Requirements

The Journeyman Plumber will be responsible for performing a wide range of commercial plumbing tasks, including installation, repair, and maintenance of plumbing systems in commercial buildings, new construction, and renovation projects. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of six (6) years of experience in the commercial plumbing trade and possess strong technical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, repair, and maintain piping systems, fixtures, and equipment for commercial and industrial applications
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine layout and installation requirements
• Collaborate with project managers, general contractors, and other trades to ensure timely and accurate project completion
• Inspect work to ensure compliance with applicable codes, safety standards, and company quality expectations
• Diagnose and troubleshoot plumbing issues in existing systems
• Operate power tools, hand tools, and equipment safely and effectively
• Mentor and assist apprentices and less experienced plumbers
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and time spent on projects
• Adhere to all company safety policies and OSHA regulations

Qualifications:

• Valid Journeyman Plumber License (state-issued) Preferred but not required
• Minimum of six (6) years of commercial plumbing experience
• Strong knowledge of plumbing codes, standards, and best practices
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Reliable transportation and valid driver's license
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks
• Strong work ethic, punctuality, and commitment to teamwork

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with medical gas, hydronic systems, and backflow prevention
• OSHA 10 or 30 certification
• Foreman or crew lead experience is a plus
