Overview
Position Overview A Business Office Manager is responsible for overseeing the billing, collections and financial operations of the health campus. They handle financial tasks such as receiving and depositing payments, making collections calls and issuing letters, discussing payment arrangements with account holders, and working with Medicare, Medicaid and insurance companies on claims and reimbursements.
Responsibilities- Leads billing and collections for all campus payer types.
- Establishes and maintains filing systems for accounts receivable and resident information.
- Creates and manages the setup of new residents and resident trust accounts in the accounts receivable system.
- Maintains census records in the Accounts Receivable system for accurate billing.
- Manages monthly billing processes for all payer classes in an accurate and timely manner according to the monthly AR calendar.
- Posts payments received appropriately to the correct resident account.
- Monitors and collects accounts receivable.
- High school diploma or GED/HSE preferred
- 1-3 years of relevant experience preferred
