Job description:

Under the direction of the Surgical Services Director, provides professional nursing care to surgical services patients. Circulating nurses ensure that everything is readily available and in good condition. Accurate documentation is essential for patient records and legal purposes. Circulator nurses document the surgical process, the team involved, and any complications that may arise.

• 2 years CURRENT hospital experience in OR - plus experience in ENDO
  - Required
• OR circulate experience with ortho (including total hip, total knee), general surgery, gyn, podiatry, urology, ENT, ENDO
  - Required - PLEASE UPLOAD DETAILED SKILLS CHECKLIST!
• Scrub & PACU experience Preferred
  , but the main need is for a Circulating RN
• Familiarity with computer applications is Required
• Arterial line, Central Line, IV start skills
  - Required
• Vent & BiPAP experience
  - Required
• Scrub/Phase I recovery experience
  - Preferred
• Current ACLS Certification
  - Required
• Current BLS Certification
  - Required
• Current PALS Certification
  - Required
• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing and registered with the New Hampshire State Board of Nursing.
  Required
• Must have technical aptitude and a willingness to learn software applications.
• Training or experience and ongoing education specific to nursing activities regarding pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient populations are Required.

Profile Requirements:
CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS :

• PALS (AHA)
• ACLS
• BLS (AHA)

STATE LICENSE REQUIREMENTS :

• New Hampshire

ADDITIONAL LICENSE REQUIREMENTS : NH or Compact MUST be in-hand at upload
Weekend Requirements : every 3rd weekend
On Call Requirements : 2-3 Nights on call during weekdays starting at 3.30p and alternating weekends on call
