Job Description:

Seeking an experienced and dynamic Medical Director at Weeks Medical Center within our outpatient medicine rural health clinics. BC in Family or Internal Medicine. In this dual-role position, you will lead and oversee clinical and administrative operations, ensuring high standards of care and efficiency, while also providing direct patient care. This role combines strategic leadership with hands-on clinical practice, allowing you to shape the future of our outpatient services and make a tangible impact on patient outcomes.

• Lead and mentor providers.
• Ensure quality of care and provider compliance.
• Coordinate medical staff education.

• Participate in planning and management activities.
• Ensure compliance with policies, RHC regulations, and bylaws.
• Assist with staff recruitment and resolve grievances.

• Drive quality initiatives and outcome measures.
• Act as ACO medical champion and EMR superuser.
• Address social determinants of health and community wellness needs.

• A respected leader with strong ethical values, effective communication skills, and a positive attitude.
• Be approachable, able to foster collaboration, and capable of driving positive change.
• Have good judgment, problem-solving abilities, and be decisive in resolving issues.
• Ability to work well with management, meet deadlines, and have the necessary computer skills to act as an EMR superuser.

• Up to $200,000 Commencement bonus/Retention bonus
• $310,000 base salary PLUS wRVU productivity potential
• Medical Director Stipend - $15,000
• Relocation Reimbursement
• 5 weeks of vacation, 5 days sick time
• 1 week CME time and $4,000 CME funds

• 5-years as a physician and experience with RHCs is preferred
• Graduate from an accredited Medical College with a Medical Degree
• Successful completion of a ACGME residency program with board certification in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
• ACLS and BLS from the American Heart Association are required.
