Recreation Coach

Blue Livin’ Supports is looking for a Recreation Coach to join our Social Recreation Program — where every outing, game, and creative activity helps adults with high-functioning disabilities grow, connect, and thrive.

• Positive and enthusiastic personality with a passion for recreation and inclusion.
• Strong communication and coaching skills.
• Ability to plan, coordinate, and lead group activities.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required.
• Comfortable working evenings (Monday–Friday) and occasional Saturdays.
• Experience working with individuals with disabilities is a plus but not required — we provide training!

• Develop and implement a variety of recreational, social, and wellness activities tailored to participants’ interests and abilities.
• Create individualized activity plans that reflect each participant’s goals and support needs.
• Coordinate and lead group outings and activities, including:
• • Arts and crafts
  • Fitness sessions
  • Games
  • Cultural and recreational excursions
• Safely transport participants to and from activities using company vehicles.

• Minimum six (6) months of verifiable experience working with individuals with developmental or intellectual disabilities, or experience coordinating recreation activities
• Ability to walk/stand for extended periods in various indoor/outdoor environments
• Basic computer skills and own a smartphone
• Must be at least 25 years of age
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Valid First Aid/CPR certification (or ability to obtain upon hire)
• Must pass employment screening, TB test, and health screening
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
