Clinical Nurse Manager (CNM) - Perioperative Services / Operating Room Location
Los Angeles, CA 90012
Shift8-hour shifts, 40 hours/week
ScheduleMonday - Friday (No weekends or holidays)
Duration16-week assignment (Long term Contract)
Position OverviewThe client is seeking a Clinical Nurse Manager (CNM) with 5-7 years of managerial experience in the Operating Room (OR) and perioperative setting.
Role & Responsibilities- Manage perioperative nursing staff and oversee daily OR operations
- Supervise surgical procedures, ensuring adherence to sterile techniques and patient safety standards
- Coordinate patient flow in the OR, PACU, and Same Day Surgery units
- Support scheduling and resource management for multiple surgical specialties
- Mentor and evaluate nursing staff, providing leadership and guidance
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, safety regulations, and quality standards
- Adapt to changing OR demands and provide support for complex procedures
- Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU)
- Same Day Surgery

- Experience circulating and assisting in a wide range of surgical procedures
- Strong knowledge of surgical instruments, sterile techniques, and OR protocols
- Ability to anticipate surgical team needs and provide support during complex and routine procedures
- Adaptable, ensuring patient safety and efficient workflow in the operating room
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- AHA BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
- MAB or CPI certification
- LA City Fire and Life Safety card (must be LA City)
- Completion of LA County Employee Health Clearance prior to assignment
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required;
Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) preferred - Minimum 5-7 years of OR management experience in perioperative services
