Job Description:

A registered professional nurse who is responsible for the operations and management of a dialysis clinic.

• Promotes teamwork and keeps a positive attitude at all times.
• Listens to patient, family and physician concerns and takes their suggestions into consideration.
• Welcomes and orients new patients to the facility.
• Prepares patient schedules, and assists in the scheduling of patient vacation plans and special requests.
• Assigns duties to staff in order to provide for optimum care while observing staff to ensure that policies, procedures and appropriate regulations are being followed.
• Coordinates with Social Worker and Dietitian, CAPD Coordinator, and other departments for continuity of patient services.
• Monitors reprocessing program for effectiveness and to ensure that procedures are followed.
• Makes routine patient rounds to identify patient needs, assess quality of care and resolve issues.

• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current California Board of Registered Nursing license to practice as a Registered Nurse.
• Experience in Chronic/Acute Hemodialysis and/or Home Setting.
• Previous management experience or
  
  B.Sc. Degree preferred, but not necessary.
• Current (within the last year) CPR card.
