Overview

Regional Support Dietitian role at Compass Group USA. This position is with CCL Hospitality Group in Southern California and the surrounding West Region.

10/4 or 5/2 - Business Needs.

Must be a Registered Dietitian with a valid CDR number.

• Provides clinical support to regional accounts (not a management role).
• Role requires extensive overnight travel – up to 100% to site across the assigned region.

Salary: $85k - $90k

The Registered Dietitian represents the key contact with guests to assess nutritional and dietary needs, make recommendations, and work with client representatives and Dining Services to deliver high standards. The role leads communication and implementation of clinical systems and programs, ensures compliance with statutory actions and documentation, and integrates nutritional requirements into dining services production and operations.

• Evaluates resident nutritional needs and establishes an individualized plan of care
• Monitors resident status and takes appropriate actions
• Collaborates with dining services to ensure a smooth seven-day operation
• Creates and maintains documentation
• Maintains client relationships
• Updates and applies professional knowledge
• Sets and communicates objectives, maintains high standards, monitors performance
• Completes required departmental audits and addresses corrective actions as needed
• Follows directives from corporate support within designated time frames

• Must be a Registered Dietitian (RD) and/or have licensure/certification
• Serve Safe, Choke Save and Allergen certification preferred
• Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition/Dietetics; completed Dietetic Internship or equivalent; member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics;
  Master’s degree preferred
• Must have 2 years of clinical experience in a senior living environment

• Scheduling may require 10 day on and 4 day off scheduling as determined by support needs
• Extensive travel up to 100%
• Valid driver’s license required
• Residency within commutable distance to major airport
• Work with extreme temperatures/conditions and frequent exposure to heated equipment, grease, refrigeration/freezer, and other at-risk conditions
• Computer literacy and ability to work with multiple software programs
• Repetitive motion, walking and/or standing for extended periods
• Frequent lifting, pushing, and carrying
• Repetitive wrist motion
