Salary: $150,000–$180,000 + Bonus

Role OverviewThe Controller will oversee all accounting operations and play a critical role in driving financial accuracy and supporting strategic initiatives. This position is responsible for ensuring timely month-end and year-end close processes, delivering reliable financial reporting, supporting budgeting and forecasting efforts, and driving cost accounting initiatives. The role also oversees AP, AR, and payroll, while partnering closely with leadership to support ongoing growth.
Key Responsibilities- Lead an accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual close process
- Prepare and analyze financial statements and monthly reporting packages
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and quarterly financial reviews
- Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll functions
- Monitor revenue, expenses, and overall financial performance
- Gather, evaluate, and present financial data to leadership
- Set performance goals for accounting staff, provide coaching, and support professional development
- Tracking and analyzing product costs, labor, and overhead
- Preparing standard cost reports and variance analyses
- Identifying opportunities for cost reductions and process improvements
- Collaborating with operations to optimize inventory valuation and cost controls
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- 5+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience
- 2+ years in a supervisory or leadership role
- Manufacturing industry experience highly preferred
- Strong knowledge of cost accounting, inventory management, and GAAP
