Are you ready to turn your passion for STEM into purpose? HOKALI, a Y Combinator–backed leader in after-school programs, is looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated STEM Instructor to join our community in Lancaster, CA. We partner with over 200 schools across the U.S., creating enriching after-school experiences that help students grow, explore new interests, and build confidence.
This program will take place at Eastside Union School District in Lancaster, CA.
Program Dates:Monday, March 30th to Friday, April 3rd
Schedule (Four Classes Per Day):- 8:45 AM – 10:00 AM
- 10:15 AM – 11:30 AM
- 12:45 PM – 1:45 PM
- 2:00 PM – 3:15 PM
Instructors will lead four classes per day during this week-long program.
What you’ll do:- Lead engaging and educational STEM classes.
- Create a positive, supportive, and hands-on learning environment.
- Encourage critical thinking, creativity, teamwork, and problem-solving.
- Teach age-appropriate STEM concepts in a safe and inclusive setting.
- Contribute to meaningful programs that make a real impact on students’ lives.
- We’re actively seeking instructors with experience in:
- STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math)
- Robotics
- Coding
- Engineering projects
- Hands-on science experiments
- Working with school-age children
- Prior experience working with children (classroom or enrichment setting preferred)
- Strong classroom management skills
- Reliable transportation and punctuality
- Ability to pass a background check
- Passion for education and youth development
