Position Summary
We are seeking a  compassionate and dedicated Pediatrician  for a  full-time, permanent outpatient position  in  Lancaster, California . This role is integral to the pediatric care program, delivering comprehensive medical services to infants, children, and adolescents while meeting nationally recognized standards of care.

Compensation

Salary Range:
$228,000 – $350,000 per year

Competitive compensation based on experience and qualifications

Schedule & Practice Setting

Employment Type:

Full-Time, Permanent

Practice Setting:  Outpatient Clinic / Private Practice

Schedule:

Monday – Saturday

Clinic

Hours:

7:30 AM – 6:30 PM

Shift Type:  Day Shift

Patient Volume Goal:
25–30 patients per day

Key Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive outpatient pediatric care in a clinic setting

Perform patient evaluations, well-child checks, physical exams, and diagnostic assessments

Diagnose and manage acute illnesses and chronic pediatric conditions

Develop preventive care plans and health maintenance strategies

Order and interpret diagnostic tests; prescribe and manage medications

Maintain accurate, timely, and thorough EMR documentation

Review, sign off, and follow up on laboratory and radiology results

Initiate and coordinate specialty referrals and collaborate with specialty providers

Participate in professional education, peer review, and quality improvement initiatives

Engage in care team huddles, provider meetings, and all-staff meetings

Promote patient safety, service excellence, and ethical medical practice

Ensure confidentiality and security of patient health information

Perform additional duties as assigned

Requirements
REQUIRED Qualifications

MD or DO licensed to practice medicine in the State of California (REQUIRED)

American Board of Pediatrics – Board Certified (REQUIRED)

DEA Certification (REQUIRED)

CPR Certification (REQUIRED)

Self-Query NPDB report is mandatory at the time of presentation and must be dated within 30 days of the presentation date (REQUIRED)

Ability to be successfully credentialed (REQUIRED)

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working with underserved or vulnerable populations

Prior FQHC experience (preferred)

Familiarity with pediatric quality measures and outcomes-based care

Bilingual in  English and Spanish  (preferred)

Strong communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills

Physical Requirements

Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, and move throughout the workday

Lift up to 25 lbs as needed

Repetitive hand movements and prolonged sitting

Visual acuity for close-detail work
