Locum - Physician - OB Hospitalist Lancaster, CA

This role offers the chance to provide vital obstetric services in a supportive environment, ensuring optimal outcomes for mothers and newborns while enjoying flexible scheduling and competitive compensation.

Required Skills:

Valid and unrestricted medical license in California

Board certification or eligibility in OB-GYN

Minimum of 2 years of hospital-based obstetrics experience

Proven ability to manage high-volume deliveries and emergency situations

Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills

Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Nice to Have

Skills:

Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems

Training or certification in fetal monitoring or emergency obstetric management

Bilingual abilities in Spanish and English

Preferred

Education and Experience:

Medical Degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution

Prior locum tenens or hospitalist experience preferred

Familiarity with the healthcare landscape in Southern California

Other Requirements:

Availability to start on December 31, 2025

Willingness to travel for on-site shifts, if necessary

Current BLS, NRP, and ACLS certifications
