Position Summary
We are seeking a  dedicated Family Medicine/ Internal Medicine Physician  for a  full-time, permanent outpatient role  in  Lancaster, California . This position plays a vital role in delivering comprehensive primary care services, with a strong focus on preventive care, chronic disease management, and serving underserved patient populations.

The ideal candidate is patient-focused, collaborative, and committed to providing high-quality care that aligns with nationally recognized standards.

Compensation

Salary Range:
$228,000 – $350,000 annually

Competitive compensation based on experience and qualifications

Schedule & Work Setting

Employment Type:

Full-Time, Permanent

Setting:  Outpatient Clinic (On-site)

Schedule:

Monday – Friday

Clinic

Hours:

7:30 AM – 6:30 PM

Work Schedule:

5 days per week, 8 hours per day

Weekends:  As needed

Key Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive outpatient primary care services to patients of all ages

Evaluate, diagnose, and treat acute and chronic medical conditions

Develop individualized care plans and preventive health strategies

Maintain accurate, timely, and thorough documentation in the EMR

Review, interpret, and sign off on laboratory and radiology results

Ensure appropriate patient follow-up and continuity of care

Initiate and manage specialist referrals as clinically indicated

Supervise and support mid-level providers (NPs/PAs)

Meet productivity goals, averaging  16–24 patients per day

Participate in care team huddles, provider meetings, and staff meetings

Promote patient safety, service excellence, and ethical medical practice

Ensure confidentiality and security of all patient information

Patient Population & Practice Focus

Outpatient primary care

Preventive health maintenance

Chronic disease management

Acute care visits

Strong emphasis on caring for underserved populations

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working with underserved or vulnerable populations

Prior FQHC experience (preferred)

Familiarity with quality measures and value-based care

Bilingual in  English & Spanish  (preferred)

Strong communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills

Travel

Occasional local travel may be required

Requirements
REQUIRED Qualifications

MD or DO licensed to practice medicine in the State of California (REQUIRED)

DEA Certification (REQUIRED)

CPR Certification (REQUIRED)

Self-Query NPDB report is mandatory at the time of presentation and must be dated within 30 days of the presentation date (REQUIRED)

Ability to be successfully credentialed (REQUIRED)

Physical Requirements

Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, and move throughout the workday

Lift up to 25 lbs as needed
