Position: Physician / Hospitalist Permanent / OB/GYN Hospitalist Physician Position  Locum or Permanent Opportunity

• Patient Population: Serving an agriculture area with 5000 annual hospital births, 750-800 handled by hospitalists.
• Current Stats: 60 deliveries/month, 180 clinic visits/month, 177 triage visits/month.
• NICU: Level III
• EMR: Cerner
• Shift Rotation: Full-time, 7-8 non-consecutive in-house shifts/month
• Duties: High Risk Obstetrical Services
• Pay Rate: $260/hr

Requirements:

• California licensure
• Board Certification with 2-3 years of experience
• Hours:
  
  7a-7a
• Boards: AOBOG, ABOG
• Certifications:
  
  BLS, ACLS, PALS, NALS, Case Logs

Responsibilities:

• 24-hour shifts, in-house presence required
• Manage OB patients in L&D and ER
• Handle Obstetric emergencies
• Manage unassigned GYN patients in ER
• Triage unassigned patients and private physician requests
• Conduct Antepartum, Post-partum, and GYN rounds
• Inpatient consults
