• Position: Class 1 (C+E) Night Trunk Driver

• Start Times: Typically between 17:00 and 22:00
• Pay Rate: 15.28 - 19.00 per hour (overtime may apply)

  Guaranteed 8 hours per shift

• Valid Class 1 (Category C+E) licence with no more than 6 points
• At least 1 year's experience driving a Class 1 Lorry
• Up-to-date CPC and Digital Tachograph
• 2 references from roles in the transport industry

• Vehicle Safety Checks: Perform pre-shift and post-shift inspections to ensure road worthiness.
• Trunking Runs: Drive articulated vehicles (Class 1 / C+E) on planned routes between hubs.
• Load Security: Ensure loads are correctly secured and comply with weight regulations.
• Paperwork & Compliance: Complete delivery notes, maintain tachograph records, and adhere to driver hours regulations.
• Communication: Report delays, incidents, or issues promptly to the transport office.
• Night Driving: Operate safely during night hours, maintaining alertness and following all traffic laws.
