Social Worker within Safeguarding Team in Lancashire (UK), earning £36 per hour. Full-time position available for an initial three months. We are specifically seeking two dedicated agency staff to join our Family Safeguarding Teams, which comprise multi-agency practitioners focused on creating real change and, where safe, keeping families together.

What you will do:

• Conduct assessments and support planning focused on improving outcomes for children and families
• Work collaboratively with families, colleagues, and external agencies to ensure a holistic approach to safeguarding
• Engage in direct work with children, undertaking risk assessments and creating intervention strategies
• Keep detailed records and follow up on actions, ensuring compliance with legal and procedural frameworks
• Participate actively in multi-agency discussions to deliver integrated services

ALL CANDIDATES MUST:

• Be registered with Social Work England
• Have at least three years’ experience in a permanent social work position within a local authority
• Not have held a permanent or fixed-term social work position within the last 12 weeks
