Unit Catering Supervisor (Grade
4) at St Pauls Primary School, Warton, Lancashire. Lancashire County Council provide catering services to over 500 schools across Lancashire, serving over 60,000 school meals per day. Permanent, 23.75 hours per week, variable hours.

Salary £25,185 - £25,989 per annum.

• Cook and serve food and beverages in accordance with agreed menus and production plans.
• Direct and/or supervise other employees.
• Order supplies and store deliveries.
• Maintain records and stock control.
• Maintain agreed standards and associated documentation in relation to food and kitchen hygiene.
• Conduct LCC catering inductions for new members of catering teams.

• Experience of large-scale catering.
• Excellent customer services experience essential.
• Knowledge of food service and supervisory skills.
• Recognised supervisor or team leader qualification would be desirable.
• Flexibility with start and finish times to support different unit services.
• A good handle on up-to-date allergen laws.

• Monday to Friday
• Term time only
• Pay is pro rata so advertised wage is for full time equivalent.
• 23.75 hours per week, equalling 4.75 hours per day, with hours variable depending on school meal uptake.
