Overview

Description Salary £12.60 Per hour | 10 hours per week | Permanent, Part time | Variable hours | Term time | St Johns Primary School | Read, Lancashire

Lancashire County Council provide catering services to over 500 schools across Lancashire, serving over 60,000 school meals per day and we are looking for committed individuals to join the service. You will work as part of a team in St Johns Primary School providing high quality, healthy, balanced meals for school children. The role involves producing up to 100 meals a day.

We require someone with similar background and experience in industrial catering with a proven track record of producing quality food in bulk.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare the dining area for service, including the moving and setting up of furniture and putting away.
  • Assist in the preparation, cooking and serving of food and beverages.
  • Clean all equipment and catering areas!
What We Are Looking For
  • An enthusiastic, experienced individual in industrial catering.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and to take charge in Managers absence.
  • Ability to work under pressure and use own initiative.
  • Good customer care skills
Qualifications
  • Previous Catering And Food Preparation Experience Is Essential
Working Hours

Working Hours/Days: 10.00 hours per week
Monday to Friday
Plus, Four cleaning days throughout the year.
