Head of Programmes and Projects

At Star Academies, we are committed to transforming lives through education. We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Head of Programmes and Projects to lead and manage our Projects Unit.

• Lead the programme and project management function within our head office.
• Develop and maintain a robust framework for programme and project delivery.
• Strengthen organisational capability in project management and drive the delivery of multiple concurrent programmes and projects.
• Collaborate closely with senior leadership and colleagues across all levels of the organisation to ensure objectives are achieved on time and to an exceptional standard.
• Oversee a diverse programme of new projects, including the development of new schools, converting and transferring academies, and exploring growth opportunities.
• Travel anywhere within the UK where new school projects emerge as required.

• Proven experience as a programme and project manager with a strong track record of identifying and delivering change using PMO techniques and methodology.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams, delivering organisational objectives and driving change and improvement.
• Inclusive and collaborative leadership style with a keen interest in developing both team members and organisational capacity and capability.
• Willingness and ability to travel within the UK to support new school projects.
