Job Description

Salary £12.60 per hour | Permanent, Part Time | 16 hours per week | Lancashire Police HQ.

Monday – Thursday: 06:00 – 09:00
Friday: 06:00 – 10:00.

Any applicant will be subject to Police vetting, requiring a minimum of three years of UK residency. A formal offer of employment cannot be issued until vetting is successfully completed.

The Facilities Management Team at Lancashire County Council is recruiting a Cleaning Operative to carry out cleaning duties at Lancashire Police HQ. The successful candidate must be flexible, covering sickness, holidays, and additional service demands as required. The team is contracted to clean all Lancashire Police buildings which provide essential services to the community and vulnerable people.

High standards of cleanliness are expected; prior experience is desirable but full training and ongoing support will be provided.

This part‑time position is paid at a full‑time equivalent hourly rate of £12.60, pro‑rated to 16 hours per week. In addition, Lancashire County Council offers the Foundation Living Wage and a range of benefits available on the LCC Vacancies website.
