Driver & Warehouse Assistant – Flexible Hours

Come and join us as a Driver and Warehouse Assistant on a flexible hours basis to help us grow, deliver sales and exceed customer expectations.

As a PTS Driver and Warehouse Assistant, you’ll be committed to delivering an outstanding level of service and you will be professional, driven and enthusiastic. The role reports into the branch management team and provides the highest level of service to internal ಕೊರೆ atಾರೆ. You will deliver products to customers against tight deadlines and will also assist in the warehouse. At times the role is customer‑facing within the branch, serving on the trade counter and dealing with customers over the telephone, ensuring that we provide the best service and maximise sales at every opportunity.

You will be contracted to a set minimum number of hours per week, but you will be required to be flexible to work additional hours, especially during the peak winter heating season. Hours and shifts will be agreed with you in advance, so that you knowentrum what you are doing and when.

• Maintain the health and safety of yourself and your vehicle.
• Ensure the maintenance and condition of your vehicle are acceptable.
• Report any issues or incidents to your line manager.
• Comply with transport law and regulations.
• Deal with stock and deliveries.
• Support the Branch Manager and Assistant Branch Manager in achieving and exceeding sales targets at optimum margins.
• Maintain high standards, create and keep a loyal customer base and provide first‑class service.
• Assist with general branch duties such as serving customers on the trade counter and telesales.
• Maintain housekeeping standards both on the trade counter and in the warehouse.

• Valid driving licence with previous driving experience.
• Previous warehouse experience preferred.
• Knowledge of plumbing and heating products is an advantage.
• Flexible with working hours and a strong customer‑service orientation.
