Private Client Solicitor / Legal Executive - East Lancashire

A respected, multi‑office law firm with a strong presence across the North West is seeking an ambitious Private Client Solicitor or Legal Executive to join its expanding team. The firm combines traditional values with a modern, forward‑thinking approach and is known for its supportive culture, investment in staff development, and award‑winning legal services.

You will join a growing Private Client department with the opportunity to work closely with an experienced Director. The role involves a broad range of private client work, including:

• Preparing tax‑efficient wills
• Advising on inheritance tax mitigation and asset protection
• Using lifetime trusts, including for care fee planning
• Administering estates, including taxable estates
• Administering trusts
• Preparing and registering Lasting Powers of Attorney
• Handling Court of Protection applications

The firm is seeking a Solicitor or Legal Executive with around 1-3 years PQE, although candidates with more experience or those looking to retrain into private client work are also encouraged to apply. The ideal candidate will be approachable, compassionate, knowledgeable and professional, reflecting the firm's core values.
