What you’ll do
  • Manage and run plot sales, part exchanges, and purchases for designated Group companies to ensure smooth and timely property transactions.
  • Prepare individual plot documentation and manage the transfer or lease process to facilitate accurate and efficient legal completion.
  • Conduct title checks and report on part exchange transactions to identify risks and support informed decision-making.
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with purchaser’s solicitors, the Group Legal Department, and regional operating companies to promote collaboration and resolve issues efficiently.
  • Monitor the legal process to ensure timely and accurate completion of transactions and compliance with procedures.
  • Handle miscellaneous property queries and plot-related matters to provide responsive support and maintain service standards.
  • Carry out Anti‑Money Laundering (AML) checks in accordance with legal requirements to ensure regulatory compliance and mitigate risk.
  • Mentor and guide Assistant Conveyancers to support their development and enhance team performance.
  • Work collaboratively with peers to foster a cohesive and high‑performing team environment.
Qualifications
  • Excellent knowledge of residential conveyancing, practice, and procedure.
  • Previous experience handling plot sales for a residential house builder (in‑house or private practice) is advantageous.
  • Strong computer literacy and confident telephone manner.
  • Ability to work independently without secretarial support.
  • Calm, organised, and capable of working under pressure and to tight deadlines.
  • Legal qualification or relevant conveyancing experience preferred.
