Due to sustained business expansion, the firm now seeks an experienced Residential Conveyancer / Conveyancing Executive to join their dynamic team. This permanent, full-time position offers the support of a fast-paced, collaborative working environment, with flexible hybrid working options available for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities in Residential Conveyancing- Manage a diverse caseload of residential property matters, including freehold and leasehold sales, purchases, re-mortgages and transfers of equity.
- Conduct thorough due diligence on all conveyancing transactions, ensuring detailed review of title documents, searches, and associated legal paperwork.
- Liaise effectively with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders and solicitors, providing clear, timely, and professional updates throughout each transaction.
- Draft, review, and complete relevant legal documents such as contracts, transfer deeds, and completion statements, ensuring all regulatory and compliance standards are met.
- Manage the exchange and completion process, addressing requisitions, and resolving post-completion formalities including SDLT submissions and Land Registry applications.
- Uphold the highest standards of client care while working collaboratively within a supportive conveyancing team.
- Solid experience in managing a full residential conveyancing caseload independently, from instruction through to completion and registration.
- Comprehensive knowledge of current conveyancing regulations, anti-money laundering practices, and Solicitors Regulation Authority requirements.
- Demonstrate strong organisational skills, capable of handling multiple active conveyancing matters and meeting tight deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to build rapport with a broad client base and external parties.
- Familiarity with modern conveyancing case management software and standard office IT applications.
- Proactive, detail-oriented approach, committed to resolving client queries swiftly and efficiently.
