Scientific Data Analyst; FTC

This position offers hybrid working from one of our UK sites and is a one‑year Fixed term Contract position.

We are seeking a diligent Scientific Data Analyst to join our Enterprise Data Management (EDM) team s is an outstanding opportunity to join a great team on a fixed‑term parental leave cover contract. Our EDM team focuses on maintaining accurate and reliable Product data across our Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Product Information Management (PIM) systems. We support our mission to ensure flawless operational efficiency and dependable reporting.

In this role, you will be pivotal in ensuring the data entry of new products and maintaining records for existing ones. You will closely follow established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). You will be instrumental to our team’s success, partnering with the wider Data team to maintain exceptional standards of data integrity!

• Accurately enter, check, export, and transform Product data in line with SOPs to ensure consistency and compliance.
• Manage large datasets across multiple systems with precision and care.
• Apply foundational system knowledge to perform tasks efficiently within ERP and PIM platforms.
• Meet defined Service Level Agreements (SLAs) for requests received via the ticketing system.
• Collaborate with team members to successfully implement data management strategies and solutions.
• Determine and address any data discrepancies to maintain data integrity.

• Bachelor’s degree (BSc or equivalent experience).
• Comfortable working with large volumes of data.
• Outstanding attention to detail and a methodical approach to work.
• Good communication and collaboration skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel (including pivot tables, filtering, and lookups).
• Familiarity with ERP (ex. IFS) or PIM (ex. Agility) systems is advantageous.
• Basic knowledge of SQL or Python is a plus, but not essential.
• Demonstrable ability to work independently and prioritize numerous tasks effectively.
