DV Cleared SOC Analyst Contract - 12 Months Rolling - £600 PD Inside IR35 - (Lancashire On Site Working) - REFERRALS WELCOME AND REFERRAL FEES AVAILABLE

We’re looking for an experienced SOC Analyst to join a high impact national security programme on a 12 month rolling contract, starting ASAP. The position requires full time on site presence in Lancashire.

  Around £600 per day inside IR35
• Duration: 12 months initially, with strong likelihood of rolling extensions

The role sits within a mature Security Operations Centre supporting critical national infrastructure. You’ll be responsible for real time monitoring, threat detection, incident response, and contributing to the ongoing improvement of detection capabilities.

• Active DV clearance (Developed Vetting) – candidates without current DV cannot be considered
• Proven 2 to 3+ years’ experience working in a SOC environment (Tier 2 or Tier 3 level ideal)
• Strong hands on experience with SIEM platforms (e.g., Splunk, Elastic, Sentinel, QRadar or similar)
• Proficiency in analysing logs, network traffic (using tools such as Wireshark, Zeek), and endpoint data
• Solid understanding of threat hunting, incident investigation, and response processes
• Familiarity with MITRE ATT&CK framework, common TTPs, and current threat landscape
• Ideally experience across a mix of environments (on prem, cloud, hybrid), but specialists in one area will still be considered
